Tempted By Lust

I was just sitting here think about all the things that has transpired in my life over the last year.  You ever wonder why things are intensified and you can literally feel the strain on your emotions, your body, and your mind? All throughout the year things manifested, they were either going to make me press in or give up, and believe me I went through every emotion. I thought well this is way to hard, I can't do this, this is just not working for me, I begin to ask the Lord whats going on? What is happening that I feel like I'm loosing ground and not moving forward? What is the issue with all the resistance I'm getting for wanting to help people? as well as to do the Lord's work? I went on to asked the Lord to make me to know what it could be? Well 1 Corinthians 10:13 (AMP) 13 No temptation [regardless of its source] has overtaken or enticed you that is not common to human experience [nor is any temptation unusual or beyond human resistance]; but God is faithful [to His word—He is compassionate and trustworthy], and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability [to resist], but along with the temptation He [has in the past and is now and] will [always] provide the way out as well, so that you will be able to endure it [without yielding, and will overcome temptation with joy].

This scripture tells us that no matter what we have to face, that God will always make a way of escape. I have realized that when temptations come, it's usually based off of what we have lodged on the inside of our soul. Temptations only reveal what is operating in our lives, and because they are unnoticed, and lay dormant, until they are triggered, irritated, or made to manifest. As we read in James 1:14 But each one is tempted when he is dragged away, enticed and baited [to commit sin] by his own [worldly] desire (lust, passion).

When we do not deal with these things, once manifested, it will bring about calamity,  which are the results of disaster, catastrophe, tragedy, cataclysm, adversity, tribulation affliction, misfortune, misadventure. We lengthen the process of suffering in a thing that just manifested itself to be uprooted, bring about healing, deliverance, and wholeness in God. James 4:2 says it like this: You are jealous and covet [what others have] and your lust goes unfulfilled; so you murder. You are envious and cannot obtain [the object of your envy]; so you fight and battle. You do not have because you do not ask [it of God]. So all the above will come  upon you because you refuse ask God or acknowledge that you something is irritating you.

Taking responsibility of what is working in us, is the first step to recovery,  the first step to our deliverance, where divine healing can take place. Where ever we have a lack of in our lives, will always manifest itself in our behaviors, attitudes, or manner of living, and how we react to what is going on reveals that it is the result of a character flaw. 1 Corinthians 15:31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. This scriptures illustrates that it is our responsibility to die to what is effecting our relationship with God or Man. We need to understand this more and more every day, because this season has definitely cause things to manifest in our lives that we know are holding us back, keeping us stagnate, and are hinder the very work of God in our lives.

God desires us to manifest the fruit of the spirit in our lives, and in order to do that we need to learn how to decipher why is it manifesting and determine what fruit is being developed. Ephesians 5:9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Once we do that, we can understand that the process of what we are experiences is for the good of those who are called to His purpose, and that the Thing that is working although to the natural eye looks bad. it's actually a good thing, so that the Truth of who He is may be seen, so others can over come by the words of our testimonies. Here in the scriptures they did not love their lives unto death, they were willing to die to themselves and physically if need be that other may understand who God was to them. Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

When we truly understand that Christ died and was resurrected, and we too have renew our minds daily, and understand that we have to put on Christ and put off the old man. As we see here in Romans 8:10-15 (TLB)10 Yet, even though Christ lives within you, your body will die because of sin; but your spirit will live, for Christ has pardoned it.[a] 11 And if the Spirit of God, who raised up Jesus from the dead, lives in you, he will make your dying bodies live again after you die, by means of this same Holy Spirit living within you. 12 So, dear brothers, you have no obligations whatever to your old sinful nature to do what it begs you to do. 13 For if you keep on following it you are lost and will perish, but if through the power of the Holy Spirit you crush it and its evil deeds, you shall live. 14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. 15 And so we should not be like cringing, fearful slaves, but we should behave like God’s very own children, adopted into the bosom of his family, and calling to him, “Father, Father.”

Walking after the Spirit will eliminate us from allowing those things to operate in our and put them to death quickly. I'm thanking God for the Revelation of His Word that I may Walk this Walk in Christ, binding my mind to the Mind of Christ, Binding my Body to the Will of God and Binding My spirit to the Spirit of God.

God word is true and it will not return void, but; accomplish what He pleases, and Prospers where ever He sends it. (Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.)

Father we desire you more than we desire what is working in us. Let Your Word be made manifest in our lives that we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. We submit ourselves unto you Lord we resist the devil and he has to flee. Thank you Father for your loving Kindness towards us. As you continue to expose our motives and intents of our heart, we will tap into the Mind of God to apply Truth that those things that are not pleasing in your sight will be uprooted. Father We thank you for manifesting yourself in our lives in Jesus Name Amen!
